Hi, I’m Sneha! I’m the founder and president of Encode.

I live in San Francisco and also spend as much time as I can in DC.

I believe AI will be the most important transition in history. Through strategic advocacy, I want to help win a future where everyone is better off because of it.

I’ve been leading Encode since 2020. Our 10-person team passes laws, builds coalitions, and influences leaders to make AI work for the American people. One of our central goals is defeating AI-enabled catastrophic risks.

I grew up in San Jose and studied Symbolic Systems at Stanford, where I fell back in love with the Bay Area and came to see working on AI safety as the highest form of techno-optimism. Before transferring to Stanford, I was lucky to spend a short time at Williams – a deeply special experience in the middle of nowhere in New England.

My life is fullest when I’m meeting new people. Please reach out!
